At Anna + Nina, we believe in the power of high-quality materials that not only look beautiful, but also retain their value. We use premium materials like gold, silver, freshwater pearls and precious gemstones in our jewellery collections. Our pieces are designed to be heritage-worthy and enjoyed for years to come when handled and maintained according to our care instructions.

As of September 2026, 90% of the active online products in Anna + Nina’s own-brand collection, excluding packaging, display items, deposits and services, are primarily made from gold, silver, brass, glass, stoneware or earthenware. This percentage is calculated at unique-product level.

The main materials used in our jewellery and homeware collections are selected to create products intended for long-term use and enjoyment. All 14K gold used in Anna + Nina’s own jewellery collections is recycled and covered by RJC Chain-of-Custody certification. Many products in our home and clothing collections are made from renewable materials such as glass and textiles.

In some cases, small plastic parts are used, such as lamp sockets or closures for clothing. As of September 2026, these materials are used in less than 1% of the products in our jewellery and homeware collections, based on our product material data.

To take things to the next level, we’ve set ambitious targets to increase the share of (certified) sustainable materials in our collections. We assess materials and suppliers against the requirements set out in our buying policy, including requirements relating to materials, packaging and working conditions.
